[Placeholder — fill in before publishing: the legal name of the business or individual operating Welcome Home Media, e.g. “Welcome Home Media LLC, an Oregon limited liability company” or “Noah Carbone, doing business as Welcome Home Media.”]
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Welcome Home Media’s website platform (the “Service”). By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you’re agreeing on behalf of a brokerage or business, you’re confirming you have the authority to do so.
2. The Service
Welcome Home Media provides real estate agents and small brokerages with a hosted website, built and kept live on our platform, along with a self-serve editor to update listings, content, and photos.
3. Your Account
You’re responsible for keeping your registered email address accurate and for anything that happens through sign-ins to your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Payment & Cancellation
Sites are billed as a one-time setup fee followed by a recurring monthly fee, processed through our payment provider, Stripe. The monthly fee is billed month to month, and you may cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation stops future billing but doesn’t refund fees already paid, except where required by law.
5. Your Content
You own the content you add to your site — your bio, listings, photos, and testimonials. By adding it, you grant us the license we need to host, display, and serve it as part of your site. You’re responsible for having the rights to any content you upload (including photos and listing data) and for its accuracy, including compliance with MLS rules, fair housing law, and licensing disclosures that apply to you as an agent.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to post unlawful, infringing, or fraudulent content, to misrepresent your license status, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the platform or other tenants’ sites.
7. Custom Domains
If you connect a domain you’ve registered elsewhere, you’re responsible for that domain’s registration and DNS settings with your registrar. We’re not responsible for issues caused by your registrar or domain provider.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate a site that violates these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Welcome Home Media isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll post the updated Terms here with a new “last updated” date.
11. Governing Law
[Placeholder — fill in the state whose law governs these Terms, e.g. “These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.”]
